After more than a decade within the nail industry, our founder, Katie, developed a distinct vision for what modern nail care could be. Informed by her experience, she recognized an opportunity to move beyond the conventional salon model and create something more refined—an environment that values both the client experience and the wellbeing of those who deliver it.
H’onu Nail Bar was conceived as a considered alternative: a space where understated luxury, exceptional craftsmanship, and a sense of calm come together effortlessly. Every detail is intentional, reflecting a commitment to quality, care, and a more elevated, thoughtful approach to beauty.

The H’onu story

Katie envisioned a nail salon that went beyond the ordinary. After a decade immersed in the industry, she understood the challenges firsthand and recognized an opportunity to create something truly elevated—where every detail, from service to atmosphere, reflected care and refinement.
The journey wasn’t simple. Without an established track record, many doors remained closed, and it took two years of persistence before she secured her first lease. That determination laid the foundation for H’onu Nail Bar: a space where thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a welcoming, inclusive spirit come together to redefine the modern nail experience.

First Salon

The first H’onu nail bar was opened in 2018, in a small premises in Farringdon—a busy business and commuter hub in the London borough of Camden. The salon quickly attracted a clientele of busy professionals who valued an efficient service where everything ran on time.

Expanding across London

With the Farringdon nail bar thriving, a second salon in Hoxton was opened. Catering to a younger, professional crowd, this location offers a full range of nail services alongside additional beauty treatments, including eyelash tinting, threading, and waxing.
In 2023, the third—and most luxurious—London salon was launched in West Hampstead. With its premium location, it serves a diverse and vibrant local community.
Continuing the expansion, a fourth salon was opened in Hampstead in 2024, further strengthening the H’onu brand in North London.

Hello, Vienna

In 2025, H’onu went international when the first European salon opened in Vienna, Austria, marking an exciting new chapter in the brand’s growth.
